Father's Day
Happy Dad's Day.Joe and I went for a run together this morning - well... I ran, Joe had to do a few loops to make it worth while for him. When we came home Joe proceeded to do his favorite things - cut the grass, and wash his car. The girls gave him some great cards made at school, "Roses and Red, Violets are blue, Hockey is cool and so are you". After lunch we lazed by the pool and later we ordered pizza. What a great day.

Pool party - Piper asked for an angel food cake, whip cream and strawberries and of course a money cake.
Can't make a Birthday Cake without money in it!
Piper's favorite gift was her new guitar. Piper is now writing her own music.....watch for video coming soon!
Sloan's 10th Birthday

Sloan's backyard pool party with school friends and neighbors. Sloan loved the giant cupcake, but... "next time Mom please don't make it organic"!
Her favorite gift was from her new friend "David, the most excellent animator" who send her a signed poster and book of the new movie "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs".
Sloan asked to change her Birthday to Sept. because that's when the movie comes out. Thank You David - Best Birthday Ever! Sloan also received her first very own camera - with video, look out YouTube!

Laaadies Lunch May 03 09

Fundraiser for Bark Lake
Lane and Peri served lunch and entertained the Laaadies on a sunny afternoon in May. The girls are heading to Bark Lake Haliburton Highlands on a school trip for 3 days in June. We asked the girls to raise 1/2 of the funds for the trip. They decided to have a Luncheon inviting Laaadies and asking for a $10 donation they were both able to meet their goal and on Monday they paid for the trip! Thank
you Laaadies for your support. Thank you Dad's for the help and Thanks to Sloan and Piper for serving.
Menu - Veggie Panini, stawberry spinch salad, mini cheesecakes with raspbarry sauce. and of course Sagrias, lots of Sangrias!
